Abdulraheem Muhammad Olarewaju, a 300 level student of Law and a member of the Vanguard Press Board, has been appointed as a Campus Reporter for LAWVERSE Magazine in Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto. This development was contained in an appointment letter obtained by these reporters and signed by the Editor-in-Chief of LAWVERSE magazine, Akinfesoye Oluwaseye, on the 26th of November 2021.
“I am pleased to notify you that the Editorial Board of LAWVERSE Magazine has deemed it fit, and have unanimously agreed to approve your appointment as a Campus Reporter in the above-named organization,” the letter reads.
LAWVERSE is a law student magazine, which offers detailed and specialist knowledge, understanding and commentaries across a wide range of subjects, built around a concept that includes articles that discuss careers, legal education and advice for succeeding as a law student.
Olanrewaju is expected to resume his duties at the magazine on Monday the 29th of November 2021, the information contained in the appointment letter said. Also according to the letter, Olanrewaju’s appointment is scheduled to run for 12 months.
Speaking on the appointee’s role, the letter says: “As a Campus Reporter, you are expected to work with the Editorial Board and other Campus Reporters and participate in all phases of the publication of the Magazine.”
Olarewaju is a registered member of the National Association of Campus Journalists (NACJ) UDUS and has been writing for the Vanguard Press UDUS. During his work with the Vanguard Board, the appointee was noted for being a hard-working campus journalist who discharges work diligently and consistently.
