The management of Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo, has postponed its second-semester examination scheduled to hold on Monday 22nd of March, 2021.
This was made known in a circular released by the school management, with ref no RUGIPO/DAA/ADM/15/VOL. IV/122, signed by the Director of Academic Affairs, Gbenga Ademiluyi.
“I write as directed to inform both the staff and students of the institution that second-semester examination in the 2019/2020 Academic session which was earlier scheduled to commence on Monday, 22nd March 2021 has now be rescheduled to commence on Monday, 29th March 2021, after given serious conduct to the plea made by the Students Council of Governor for main time to allow those who are yet to pay school fees and complete require formalities to do so.”
According to the circular, students who have paid their full school payment completed the required formalities and issued a financial pass, will be allowed to participate and gain access to the examination hall.
However, students who are yet to pay are enjoined to meet with the Verification Committee members for their clearance.
“Meanwhile, students who are yet to pay are advised to use the opportunity to meet the verification committee members for their clearance.”
The circular added that lectures are to be put on hold during this period of extension and urged the polytechnic community to adhere to the institution’s decision, strictly.
