The Post UTME candidates of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife has expressed their dissatisfaction while participating in the first of its kind computer based test held recently.
Some of the candidates who wrote their exam earlier today complained bitterly because some computer systems failed to respond to commands and this led to some delay while the allocated test time ran down.
Abdulazeez, one of the candidates who spoke with our reporter, said: “I only hope the exam will not be used to undermine our qualification for admission in the school. The computer system failed us. I was almost done with my question when it went off, I was instructed to start again”
Another candidate who spoke under the condition of anonymity to avoid being victimised said the exam was marred with irregularities.
“I wrote mine on 23rd by 8am and we were instructed not to use calculator but to our chagrin and total disappointment, the next group of students scheduled for 10am were permitted which resulted to students writing same examination under different circumstances and conditions” he said.
Meanwhile, all efforts to speak with any of the examination officers proved abortive as they were all seen busy with candidates at the time of compiling this report.
