Following the report of CAMPUS REPORTER on how candidates expressed their dissatisfaction in the first of its kind Computer Based Test (CBT) Post UTME screening exercise conducted in Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife.
The management of the institution conducted a make-up test for candidates that missed their 2017 POST-UTME Aptitude test on Saturday, 30th of September, 8am at the university’s computer center.
According to the release on the University Admission Portal, all applicants who recently changed their institution to OAU, Ile-Ife, and scored 200 and above were also permitted to write the test with their JAMB print-out and Aptitude test fee of N2,350.
Speaking with our reporter, Quadri Lateef said he was pleased with the test re-scheduled for them.
“This is a welcome development. I was already thinking of buying the PUTME form of the polytechnic I chose until I got the information that we should come for the screening make-up”, he said
Another candidate, Bukola Fashina expressed her satisfaction in the examination conducted. “Kudos to the management and the media for allowing our voice to be held. My parents already told me to prepare for next UTME following OAU irregularities this year but we bless God for the decision the management made.”
