Nigerian University Website Hacked
The website of the Gombe State University, has been hacked, CAMPUS REPORTER can report.
The hacker of the website, named SHETTIMAX, sets a notice on pages of the site demonstrating that control over it. The hacker is thought to be of the MAIDCITYLEETCREW in view of the header label he changed on the site.
SHETTIMAX however guaranteed the university authority of security of their records. Be that as it may, on a visit to the page marked “New Admission List”, the hacker’s signature was displayed.
Then, attempts to access different segments of the site, between December 26 and December 28, directed one to the underlying static page assigned by the hackers. Pictures of two skeletons hung in the gallow, and that of a panicked eyeball were in plain view.
Campus Reporter discovered that some background music, struggles and cries indicative of violence were added to the features of the website’s background by the hacker.
On the news page, the hacker asked the site administrators to settle the site rupture soon.
Nothing came of the efforts to contact the school. Both the Vice Chancellor, Ibrahim Umar and the Public Relations Officer of the university, Abubakar Samman, did not answer calls. They also did not reply messages sent to their phones.
