David Olumide Abraham, Unopposed, Emerged As The Chief Whip

While speaking with UCJ FUOYE, the newly elected Speaker, Adebisi Segun, said “the election was meant to hold on 24th February 2021 but a lot of things transpired that day. There was a clash of disagreements on particular articles of the constitution. These arguments ranged from not having or having representatives in the house from the Faculty of Education, other departments, and disqualification of aspirants with low CGPA. We left the venue peacefully on Wednesday without any conclusion.”

He continued by saying “we had a meeting on Thursday, 27th February 2021 and it was raised that only half numbers of the members would be allowed to vote. The inauguration and in-house election were held on Friday successfully.”

“In the course of my administration, the constitution, which had made every one of us handicapped will be reviewed and made easy. Secondly, the administration will invite dignitaries and erudite to enlighten us and educate us during a program. Lastly, we will pay a visit to the Senate in Abuja. We hope time permits us to achieve all these,” he concluded.
