The management of Usmanu Danfodiyo University has extended the registration deadline for its students of the University for the third time since its initial deadline.
This was disclosed in a circular dated 25th of February 2020 and released by the Office of the University Registrar.
The circular reads: “The management has taken into cognizance of the fact that some students are yet to register or complete their registration as at the time for closure of registration (i.e. Thursday, 13th of February, 2020), resolved that the registration should be reopened for first one week (from Tuesday, 25th of February, 2020 to Monday, 2nd of March, 2020). However, the students shall pay late charges of Five Hundred Naira (N500.00) only.”
Additionally, the management has declared that any student who fails to pay within the first week of the extension period — from Tuesday, 25th of February, 2020, to Monday, 2nd of March, 2020, will be charged the sum of Five Thousand Naira Only before he can access the school’s portal.
“The management has equally resolved that at the end of the first week, any student who fails to register shall pay Five Thousand Naira (N5,000.00) only as late registration before gaining access to the registration portal.
“Students are strongly advised to take advantage of the extension to complete their registration. Any student that fails to register within the extension period (Tuesday, 25th of February, 2020, to 10th of March, 2020) shall have no option but to defer the 2019/2020 academic session,” the circular added.
